![]() (You will drive 6 hours and have to return the truck to the warehouse for one of the OG drivers to then use for the afternoon deliveries) You only get paid on the 15th & 30th of each month. Honestly after training because of having to share a truck with another driver they will only give you maybe 20 hours a week. During your interview they will ask you if you can work 60-70 hours a week which breaks down to 14 hours a day, 11 driving and 3 for pre/post trip and paper work after your day is over. If your looking for a good driving job steer clear of 1800 pack rat. If you want more hours they make you drive for the sister company zippy shell moving you're probably thinking wow thats good actually its not because the vehicle they want you to drive is just as broken as the pack rat kenworths. They are hiring more drivers because the turn over rate here is insane! also they only have 3 trucks of which only two are barely operational. They currently only have 20 hours max for the full time drivers they currently have. Corporate also told their drivers there will be absolutely no raises or bonues for them this year because of high interest rates and the home buying market isnt doing good. 1800 pack rat corporate has a deal with all managers if they keep their drivers under 40 hours a week they get bonus pay. ![]() They lie directly to your face about the hours you will actually be getting to work. Save yourself the depress!on and anxiety and do not work here. This company has caused me so much mental health issues it’s not even funny. Take it from someone who has been here for many many years. This company does not care about its employees what so ever. Oh and if you have informative feed back you want to share to help better the business? Well good luck because the hire ups don’t care at all. Agents get all of the blame for everything and the hire ups and facilities never get in trouble for anything. The facilities are horrible, constantly having truck break downs or employees calling out, which causes customers units to be rescheduled without notice to them, so they call in and yell and curse you out for it, the facilities never get any of the blame, maybe if the facilities weren’t trash then there wouldn’t be so many angry customers calling in. Then they will yell at you for having a bad QA score. ![]() Agents are NEVER notified if policies change so you’ll just get marked off on your QA scores even though no one told you something changed. They told you you could work from home? Good luck with that because it won’t happen, if it does you will get called back into the office the same day you go home. The hire ups legit sit around and laugh with each other all day. 1-800-PACK-RAT's service was extremely unprofessional and I would steer clear of their business when there are better and cheaper options. This company is a joke in and of itself. I was LUCKY to get a next day container service with another local company that assured me their unit (like the many others people have used when moving up this hill) would have no problem. He then cancelled my order without warning, leaving me stranded without anywhere for the movers to put my stuff. He ignored all of my calls, telling me he had poor service despite texting me back immediately. He told me that he had tried to call me, but I received no missed calls. ![]() At 8pm the night before the unit was due to show up, I got a text from Jaice at the Franklin, MA location to let me know that they would be unable to deliver the container. The person I spoke to over the phone (Chris) checked the address on Google maps and assured me more than once that my location would not be a problem. I booked their services over a month ago and went through the lengthy process of confirming everything including my address and the fact that I lived on an incline. I should have listened to all the other negative reviews about this company. I should have listened to all the other negative reviews
